Build volca sample 2 patterns here, save them as files, and load them in the volca sample Librarian with File › Load Pattern…

Part 1

Motion

Drag across the lane to record knob movement over the bar. It is stored as 4 points per step, the way the volca records motion.

Getting it onto the volca

  1. Save the pattern file. It downloads as a .vlcsplpatt file.
  2. In the Librarian, choose File › Load Pattern… and pick the file.
  3. Select it in the Patterns list and press Send.

What this edits

Each part's sample number (000–199), its 16 steps, its 11 knobs, and motion for those knobs. Everything else in the file, like the header bytes this editor doesn't understand yet, is copied unchanged from the file you opened.

A part plays whatever is in that sample slot on the volca. Send your samples with the Librarian's Samples page, then type their slot numbers here.
