PlantFriend Privacy Policy

PlantFriend ("the app") is built and operated by Brian Ellis ("we", "us"). This privacy policy explains how the app handles data. The short version: it doesn't.

What data we collect

We do not collect any personal data. The app does not ask for your name, email, location, contacts, photos, microphone, or any other information. The app has no user accounts.

What data we share

None. We do not share, sell, or transmit any information about you, because we do not have any.

Information stored on your device

The app saves your game progress (your plant's stats, position, and the state of the room) using your device's standard local storage (UserDefaults). This information stays on your device. It is not sent to us or to any third party. You can erase it at any time by deleting the app.

Network access

The app does not connect to the internet. It does not load remote content, send analytics, fetch ads, or contact any server.

Third-party services

None. The app does not use third-party SDKs, analytics, advertising networks, crash reporters, or any external services.

Children's privacy

The app is suitable for all ages, including children under 13. Because the app does not collect any data, it does not collect data from children either. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) by virtue of collecting nothing.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at the same URL where you found this one, with a new effective date. Material changes will not be made retroactive.
